A Turk woman risks her own to save the life of her best friend who is hunted down for the color of her skin and her religious beliefs. The film begins in 1891 Koutina, Anatolia and ends at the last concert given by Archbishop Komitas in Constantinople, 1915. The entire film takes place on the backdrop of Komitas' sacred music.
